I still think it’s cute.

I get really annoyed when people tell me that Cystic Fibrosis isn’t a serious disease. Ok, unless you go through what I do everyday then shut up. you have no idea what it’s like.

Cystic Fibrosis

I seriously love reading all the posts about cf because I can actually relate to most of them. Feels good to know I’m not as different as everyone else :)

Protecting Them

When I’m sick, I shrink by up to an inch. When you’re only 5’1”, that inch is a lot. My clinic once told me that CF kids tend to hunch over very slightly, unconsciously, when they’re sick, because they’re trying to protect their lungs. If I breathe in deep when my height is being taken, I don’t shrink by as much. Anyway. I have the feeling I’m doing that today. 

I’m short of breath. I can’t quite tell what’s going on, I want to go lay down. 

Wow..I’ve never heard that but it makes sense. My husband always tells me I’m hunched over butive never noticed haha
